Things to Make Today

food prepAnyone else doing some weekend food prep? Taking an hour or two to wash and chop and roast veggies, make some grains, and a few proteins and entrees for the week ahead makes it so much easier to live in the moment and have a nice meal during the week. Here are a few favorites for this week:

    I’ve got a crockpot full of beans & rice, some apple goo cooking on the stove, and tried a failed quinoa breakfast recipe…but in a word, the answer to your question is YES. 🙂

    I would love to get organized and plan ahead, but this would require a weekend trip to Trader Joe’s, which we know is a REALLY BAD IDEA. 🙂

    One of these days I’ll get there early enough….

      It’s really crazy how busy it gets there! I will say, though, I do love overhearing tourists gasp at the line out the door…
